CMA Ankit Palai is a qualified Cost Management Accountant with over three years of professional experience in taxation, financial reporting and statutory compliance. She has developed expertise in direct and indirect taxation, accounting and regulatory compliances, with a particular focus on income tax, GST and related advisory matters.

With experience at Agarwal Maheswari & Co., she has been actively involved in managing GST and TDS compliances, preparation and finalisation of financial statements, maintenance of books of accounts and conducting tax and GST audits for various clients. She also has experience in handling ROC-related compliances and overseeing the incorporation of Private Limited Companies and LLPs.

Her areas of expertise include preparation and filing of income-tax returns for resident and non-resident assessees, computation of residential status and taxable income, application of deductions under Chapter VI-A and tax computation under both the old and new tax regimes. She also has working knowledge of Double Taxation Avoidance Agreements (DTAAs), including foreign tax credit provisions and Dependent Personal Service exemptions.

She is proficient in MS Office, accounting and taxation software, with working knowledge of Tally ERP 9 and SAP. She brings a strong focus on accuracy, compliance and timely execution of tax and regulatory assignments.
